The spirit of KPM, DeWolfe & I Marc 4 distilled in a garage in Leeds.

The funky, atmospheric output of companies like DeWolfe, Cavendish, and KPM has inspired ATA Records, seen in the soundtrack works of The Sorcerers and The Yorkshire Film & Television Orchestra.

Everything on ATA is guided by label heads Neil Innes and Pete Williams, who occasionally create one-off tracks that have found a home in The Library Archive.

Recorded using techniques from the 60's & 70's, The Library Archive sits alongside KPM and Telesound's minimalist covers.

The fierce Brass of 'Whack, Slap & Blow' could be a Keith Mansfield cut, while 'Duck Strut' is a slice of Bass-driven Brit-funk. Cinematic tracks like 'The Needle Nose' conjure images of dark alleys, while 'Wigged out' channels the organ weirdness of I Marc 4. 'Siren's sea's' acoustic interlude evokes distant clifftops before album closer 'Planet Nine' traverses the cosmos.
